Friday

Today I woke up at 6:45AM and ate breakfast with Gavin, who then took me to Uclan Arena, another venue of the Blackpool Cup (for under-13). The same guys as yesterday were there and we hung up some banners and did some other stuff. Fortunately I was busy the whole time, so there was no time to be bored. At 1PM, the wife of Gavin, Lorna, who is also the leader of the tournament at Uclan Arena, and some other people took me to the Blackpool FC stadium, which lasted much longer than expected due to traffic jams. We ate some lunch at McDonalds and then entered the stadium and watched the first half. During the half-time break, the countries, represented by three players, participating at the tournament would be called forward and I was responsible for getting them down the pitch. However, I didn't receive any message of where they were sitting in the stadium, which was not according to plan, but with some help of Lorna I found out where they were at. After some miscommunication at first, the players made their way down and got their minute of fame. After that we didn't went on to watch the rest of the game, but left instead for the hotel to rest. At dinner, the hotel had become very busy, which I found quite disturbing. I ate with Gavin and his family and some other people and we had some conversations about the past day.

Today was quite fun, as it was very diverse. Tomorrow the actual tournament starts.
